About this benefit

Eligibility

Must have a service-connected disability rating (even 0%).

Priority group

Veterans with 50%+ are Priority Group 1 (no copays). Veterans with 30%-40% are Priority Group 2. Veterans with 10%-20% are Priority Group 3. Veterans with a compensable 0% rating (paid SC condition) are Priority Group 6. Veterans with a non-compensable 0% rating (no monthly compensation) are Priority Group 5, but enrollment is income-dependent.

Primary care, specialist visits, mental health, prescriptions, and hospital care for service-connected conditions.

How to apply

Submit VA Form 10-10EZ online, by mail, or in person at your local VA Medical Center enrollment office.

Copays may apply for non-service-connected care depending on priority group.
