Privacy Policy

VetUnlock is built privacy-first: no account, no login, and we never sell your personal information. This page explains exactly what we collect and how to opt out.

No account, no profile stored

VetUnlock does not require you to create an account or sign in. When you use the eligibility tool, the answers you provide (such as your disability rating and state) are encoded directly into the page URL so we can show your results — they are not stored on our servers or tied to your identity. Close the tab and that information is gone.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type, and aggregated interaction patterns such as heatmaps). These tools set cookies and may record anonymized interaction data to help us improve the site. They do not tell us who you are.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser opt-out add-on, and you can block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Advertising

VetUnlock displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. This helps keep VetUnlock free.

You can control or disable personalized advertising in your Google Ad Settings, and learn more in Google’s advertising policies. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent prompt before personalized-ad cookies are set.

Email you choose to share

We only collect your email address if you voluntarily sign up for update notifications or contact us directly. We use Resend and Amazon SES to deliver those emails. We will never sell or rent your email address, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to capture technical error reports (such as the page and browser where an error occurred) so we can fix bugs. These reports are used solely to keep the site working.

What we don’t do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not require accounts, and we do not build advertising profiles tied to your identity.

Children’s privacy

VetUnlock is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
