Educational Gratuity for Children of Disabled/Deceased Veterans
$500 per term/semester for up to four scholastic years (eight payments / $4,000 total) for children of 100% permanently disabled or deceased veterans.

Details
Eligibility
Children ages 16-23. Parent must be a veteran with Honorable or Under Honorable Conditions discharge who served during an established wartime period (per VA standards) and has a 100% permanent and total service-connected disability rating, OR died in service during war/armed conflict.
Residency
5-year Pennsylvania residency required (applicant must have lived in PA for the five years prior to application).
Financial
Demonstrated financial need required.
School
Child must be enrolled in a VA-approved PA educational institution; payments are made directly to the school.
Amount
$500 per term/semester. Per the official DMVA page, payments may not be made for longer than four scholastic years (eight payments). Maximum $4,000.
