About this benefit
Eligibility
Active member of the NH National Guard who has completed Advanced Individual Training (AIT) or has been commissioned. Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at a state-supported postsecondary institution on a space-available basis.
Covers
Full tuition waiver at UNH, Plymouth State, Keene State, Granite State College, and Community College System. Does not cover fees, room, or board.
Transferability
Members who completed initial mandatory service obligation (no less than 6 years) may transfer the benefit to their spouse until July 1, 2027; transfer requires a 4-year reserve duty service obligation after transfer.
