Active member of the NH National Guard who has completed Advanced Individual Training (AIT) or has been commissioned. Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at a state-supported postsecondary institution on a space-available basis.

Transferability
Members who completed initial mandatory service obligation (no less than 6 years) may transfer the benefit to their spouse, for use at a Community College System of NH college, until July 1, 2027; transfer requires a 4-year reserve duty service obligation after transfer.
