Eligibility

Must have exhausted all other sources of aid. Household liquid assets must not exceed $1,000; household income must not exceed 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Standard veteran eligibility.

Covers

Health Care Aid (dental, vision, hearing) and Subsistence Aid. Health Care Aid sub-caps: Dental: $800/12mo (extended $4,000/24mo); Vision: $400/12mo; Hearing: $200/12mo (hearing aids $1,875/24mo). Subsistence: cannot exceed $3,000/12mo. $7,500 combined lifetime cap (Health Care + Subsistence). Subsistence aid awarded for 30-day periods, up to 3 months.
