Eligibility
Must have exhausted all other sources of aid. Household liquid assets must not exceed $1,000; household income must not exceed 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Standard veteran eligibility.
Covers
Health Care Aid (dental, vision, hearing) and Subsistence Aid. Up to $3,000 per any consecutive 12-month period; $7,500 combined lifetime cap (Health Care + Subsistence). Subsistence aid awarded for 30-day periods, up to 3 months.
