About this benefit
Eligibility
Honorably discharged. WV resident for at least 30 days (or entered service from WV). At least 12 months of active duty service. Enrolled in a certified post-secondary education course at a WV institution.
Covers
Up to $500 per semester stipend for tuition, professional license/certification tests, and training materials. Can also assist with vocational and non-traditional education on a case-by-case basis.
How to apply
Submit the Veterans Re-education Assistance Application along with DD-214, proof of residency, and proof of enrollment to the WV Department of Veterans Assistance.
