Eligibility
Veteran (already eligible for federal VA monetary benefits, or with qualifying discharge) or active servicemember who owns at least 51% of a business incorporated in Washington or with its principal place of business located in Washington. Certification is free; requires proof of veteran status, 51% ownership, and Washington business registration.
Benefit
Free certification as a Veteran-Owned Business. Once certified, eligible to apply for the Veterans Linked Deposit Program, which decreases interest rates on small business loans by 2 percentage points.
