Overview

Eligibility (per RCW 28B.15.621): Child (ages 17-26), spouse/domestic partner, or surviving spouse/domestic partner of a veteran or National Guard member who became totally disabled (100%) as a result of service, was declared POW or MIA, or lost their life as a result of active federal military service. The veteran must have been a Washington domiciliary who served in active federal service in a war or conflict. Surviving spouse/domestic partner has 10 years from date of veteran's death, total disability, or POW/MIA determination to use the waiver.

Full waiver of all undergraduate tuition and fees at state universities, regional universities, The Evergreen State College, and community/technical colleges -- up to 200 quarter credits (or equivalent semester credits). $500/year textbook stipend if funded by the legislature.
