Eligibility

VA service-connected disability rating of 60% or more, OR loss of a lower extremity from service.

Covers

Free entry to all Texas State Parks for the pass holder plus ONE accompanying companion. (TPWD added separate Veterans 50%+ tier, Active Duty, and Gold Star Family tiers in 2023 with different terms — see TPWD Parklands Passports page.)

How to get it

Visit any Texas State Park headquarters and present a valid photo ID PLUS one of: Disabled Veteran license plate receipt, VA award/disability letter, or Texas property tax exemption letter showing 60%+.
