Eligibility

Bona fide PA resident with 60%-99% service-connected disability rated by the VA. Per PA Fish and Boat Commission, the law requires only that the injury or disability be service-connected — combat / war / armed-conflict service is NOT required for the reduced fee fishing license. Written certification from the VA confirming the service-connected disability rating is the required (and only acceptable) documentation. Note: permit fees (e.g., trout, Lake Erie) are not waived for the reduced fee license.
