Eligibility and points (categories not combinable; applies only to Training & Experience exams):
- 10 points: Veterans (honorable), disabled veterans, and widows/widowers of veterans killed in line of duty.
- 5 points: Widows/widowers of non-KIA veterans, and Nevada National Guard members.
- Guaranteed interview: SC-disabled veterans who meet minimum qualifications.
- At least 22% of qualified applicants interviewed for any state position must be qualified veterans.
