Details

Eligibility

Veteran with a 25% or higher service-connected disability rating (per Maryland statute). Because VA assigns ratings only in 10% increments, the eligibility threshold is applied at 30%. Must have exhausted or be no longer eligible for federal veterans educational benefits. Maryland resident, enrolled at an eligible Maryland postsecondary institution.

Also available to children, stepchildren, and surviving spouses of veterans who died or were 100% disabled from service.

Renewable annually. Deadline: July 15.
