Eligibility

Iowa resident veteran (or family member). Household income (including VA pension, service-connected disability income, and Social Security) must not exceed 300% of Federal Poverty Guidelines for the household size. Available liquid assets (cash, checking/savings, stocks, bonds, CDs, T-bills, money market) must not exceed $20,000. Per Iowa Admin. Code 801 Ch. 14 (implementing Iowa Code 35A.13).
