Eligibility

Active military and honorably discharged veterans (submit DD-214 long form with application).

Covers

Expedited processing goal of 30 days instead of the standard 90-day statutory maximum.

Fee

There is NO fee waiver — concealed weapon licenses are explicitly excluded from the FDACS veteran fee waiver program. Total state fee is $97 ($55 license fee + $42 fingerprint processing fee). Tax collector offices add ~$22 convenience fee for new applicants ($119 total via tax collector).
