Eligibility

Alabama resident veteran with a 50% or higher combined service disability rating certified by the VA. Legal basis: Alabama Code 9-11-44.

Covers

50% Disabled Military Veteran's Appreciation Hunting License at $17.70/year (statutory fee is 50% of the resident all-game hunting license plus issuance fee, with CPI cost adjustments). License includes Wildlife Heritage privileges. Does NOT include Baiting Privilege, Nighttime Feral Swine/Coyote, or Management Area licenses (separate purchase). Lifetime hunting license available for veterans with 40%+ disability ($60 under 50, $30 at 50+).
