Alabama resident veteran with 20% or higher combined service-connected disability rating certified by the VA. Legal basis: Alabama Code 9-11-53.
Covers
Disabled Military Veteran's Appreciation Annual Freshwater Fishing License at $3.60 ($2 license fee plus $1 issuance fee, current rate $3.60 after CPI adjustments). License includes Wildlife Heritage License privileges. Lifetime disabled veteran fishing licenses also available at reduced rates ($45 under age 50; $25 at age 50+).

Visit local Probate Office or License Commissioner with VA combined service rating documentation and proof of Alabama residency. Active duty stationed in Alabama and dependents qualify as residents.
