Eligibility
Must be a current Wisconsin resident AND either (a) held Wisconsin as home of record when entering active duty, OR (b) a Wisconsin resident for 3+ consecutive years prior to enrollment. Discharged under honorable conditions. Must meet one of: served 90+ days active duty during a war period; served 2 consecutive years active duty during peacetime; discharged due to service-connected disability, hardship, or reduction in force; received an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal or equivalent; or service in a designated crisis zone.
Covers
Full tuition and segregated fee remission at any UW System or Wisconsin Technical College System school, for up to 128 credits or 8 semesters (whichever is greater). Spouse/children eligibility requires the veteran to have a 30%+ service-connected disability rating, OR died on active duty / from service-connected causes; eligible children must be ages 17-25.
