Eligibility
100% permanent and total service-connected VA disability rating, OR recipient of a VA Specially Adapted Vehicle Grant, OR former POW. Purple Heart recipients and Pearl Harbor survivors also qualify for free special plates.
Covers
Free special license plate (no plate fee). Exemption from annual motor vehicle registration fee for one vehicle. Veteran still pays the $0.50 insurance enforcement fee and $1.00 litter fee.
