Eligibility
Washington vehicle owner. Served in any U.S. armed forces branch, Reserves, or National Guard. Qualifying discharge per RCW 41.04.005 Section 4(1). 100% service-connected disability rating from the VA, with compensation expected to last more than 1 year.
Covers
License-fee exemption for one vehicle per year. Additional fees apply for special background designs. Does NOT grant disabled parking privileges.
How to apply
Submit Letter of Eligibility from VA and the Military Services and Veterans License Plate Application form (with applicable payment) to a local vehicle licensing office.
