Eligibility
Veteran with DD-214 or Statement of Service documentation. If a supervisor selects a non-veteran over an eligible veteran, reasons must be documented in writing. 60 months of additional credit toward time of service in layoff situations.
Spousal preference also available for spouses of 100% disabled veterans or those who died in the line of duty.
