Eligibility
Must have been a South Dakota resident for at least 6 months before entering active duty. Must have served during a qualifying period (Aug 2, 1990 through a date TBD for GWOT). Honorable discharge required.
Covers
Non-hostile area: $100 for the first month, then $20/month, up to $240 max. Hostile area: $150 for the first month, then $50/month, up to $500 max. Veterans with 10%+ service-connected disability rating automatically receive the $500 maximum.
