Eligibility
Honorably discharged veteran, active-duty service member, or their dependent. Per BOR Policy 5:7 / 2:7, in-state rates extend to active-duty members and recently-discharged veterans (typically within 3 years) using VA education benefits at SD public institutions, in compliance with federal Section 702 of the Choice Act.
