Eligibility
Veteran with honorable discharge (documented via DD-214 or military discharge papers). Must have been a SC resident when entering the Armed Forces, OR when the veteran/eligible family member died, OR for at least 5 consecutive years (waivers available from SC Division of Veterans' Affairs). Spouse burial: $300 fee (marriage certificate required); each child: $300 fee.
