Eligibility (any of): Honorable service with campaign/expeditionary medals; 2+ consecutive years active-duty peacetime service; 20+ years National Guard or Reserve service; 6+ years RI National Guard/Reserve service if deceased after March 15, 2022; or 6+ years out-of-state Guard/Reserve service with RI residency of 2+ consecutive years if deceased after March 15, 2022. Veteran burials are at no cost; spouse and dependent burials may incur fees.
