Eligibility
Veterans with honorable discharge applying for civil service positions with any Oregon public employer. As of January 1, 2026, current/former Oregon National Guard members also qualify. Disabled veterans receive 10 percentage points. Violations are an unlawful employment practice enforceable through BOLI.
How to apply
Indicate veteran status on your public employer job application and provide DD-214.
