Eligibility

Veteran requiring long-term skilled nursing care. Admission based on medical necessity and wartime service. Federally approved by the VA and licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Covers

Long-term skilled nursing care at seven state-operated facilities (Ardmore, Claremore, Clinton, Lawton, Norman, Sallisaw, Sulphur), including memory care units at select locations (currently Claremore and Lawton). Cost is not fully free; the veteran pays a share based on income, with VA payments helping defray costs.
