Must be a veteran residing in Kings County (Brooklyn). All discharge types are welcome for initial consultation.

Coverage

Free assistance filing VA disability claims, pension applications, and appeals. Provides referrals to housing, employment, and mental health resources in the Brooklyn area.

Contact NYC DVS at 212-416-5250 or connect@veterans.nyc.gov. Brooklyn satellite locations include 800 Poly Place Room 5-213, Brooklyn, NY 11209 (Tue/Thu 10am-4pm) and 25 Chapel Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (Mon/Tue 10am-4pm). NYS DVS also operates an office at 250 Schermerhorn St, Room 211 (718-613-3735).
