Eligibility

Must be a veteran who is homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Must be a New Jersey resident (or willing to establish residency). Any discharge status may be considered. Must be drug and alcohol free at admission; substance abuse treatment is provided as part of the program but applicants must be sober at intake.

What Veterans Haven Transitional Housing covers

Covers

Transitional housing with supportive services including substance abuse counseling, mental health services, employment assistance, life skills training, and case management. Program duration is up to 2 years. Two facilities: Veterans Haven North (Glen Gardner, Hunterdon County) at 200 Sanatorium Road, Suite 101 and Veterans Haven South (Winslow Township, Camden County).
