Eligibility
Veterans rated permanently and totally disabled from service-connected disability; honorable discharge. One free Disabled Veteran plate. Also: amputee, paraplegic, or blind veterans who received a vehicle from the VA get registration fee exemption. Former POWs receive a special plate at no charge. Blind veterans get one free plate.
