Eligibility
Honorably discharged veterans; various branch-specific and campaign-specific designs available (Air Force, Army, Army Airborne, USCG, USMC, Navy, Seabees, NG, Woman Veteran, Purple Heart, MOH, Silver Star, Bronze Star w/Valor, Ex-POW, Pearl Harbor, Gold Star, Fallen Military). Veteran or eligible family member may purchase general veteran plate.

Application form varies by plate type: SP-33 (general veteran branch plates), SP-96 (Purple Heart, Medal of Honor, Ex-POW, Pearl Harbor), SP-94 (Silver/Bronze Star w/Valor), SP-10 (Disabled Veteran), SP-76/SP-78 + SP-90 (Gold Star/Fallen Military), SP-11 (NVNG Active Duty).
