About this benefit
Eligibility
Montana National Guard member or reservist who is a Montana resident. Served under federal contingency orders for at least 30 consecutive days (on or after April 28, 2007). Pay grade no higher than O-3 or W-3.
Three grant tiers
status-based ($250 per eligible dependent, requires DEERS); need-based (up to $2,000 with proof of 30%+ income loss or hardship); casualty-based ($2,000 with Purple Heart documentation).
