Eligibility
90 days of active-duty service, honorable discharge. Extended to eligible spouses.
5% or 10% preference added to passing scores on agency written exams and numerical screening scores. Automatic advancement past random/mechanical screening.
Degree waiver
Veterans with 2+ years active service at E-6 or above may qualify for positions normally requiring a bachelor's degree.
Current state employees may use preference for promotional postings.
