Eligibility

Veteran with loss or loss of use of two hands, feet, or eyes (or one of each) due to service-connected disability. Must own and occupy as domicile.

Covers

$1,250 base statutory exemption (MGL Ch. 59 ยง5 Cl. 22B). Under HERO Act local options, municipalities may double the amount to $2,500 (Clause 22J) and/or annually CPI-adjust it (Clause 22I).
