Who is eligible

Eligibility

Massachusetts residents who are blind, paraplegic, or intellectually disabled qualify for free freshwater fishing AND hunting licenses. Nonresident service members stationed in MA can purchase licenses at resident prices.

Important to know

First-time applicants must submit a Certificate of Blindness from the MA Commission for the Blind, or a Physician Certification Form. Paraplegic applicants must also submit a Hunter Education Certificate or prior hunting license.
