Details

Eligibility

Veteran who served 90+ days active duty with last discharge under other-than-dishonorable conditions; OR served any duration and received a service-connected disability; OR determined to be a veteran by the VA. Must be a Massachusetts resident. Means-tested (effective 7/1/2025): income limits are $2,609/month (individual), $3,525 (2-person household). Asset limits: $8,400 (individual), $16,600 (couple). Dependents of eligible veterans may also qualify. Even if income exceeds these limits, you may still qualify for medical expense reimbursements.

Financial assistance for food, shelter, clothing, fuel, and medical care (including dental). Also covers outpatient behavioral health services.
