Active duty, veterans, or retired military who served on active duty for 180 days or within a war zone. National Guard members who meet the same criteria qualify. Income and purchase price limits apply.

0.50% discount on MaineHousing's 30-year fixed-rate First Home Loan. Waiver of first-time homebuyer requirement. Additional options include up to $5,000 in down payment/closing cost assistance, up to $35,000 for home improvements, and mortgage payment assistance during unemployment.
A 0.50% rate reduction on a $250,000 mortgage saves approximately $25,000+ over 30 years.
