Eligibility
Maine veteran with Honorable or General Under Honorable Conditions discharge experiencing an emergency who does not have sufficient savings or access to other financial assistance.
Covers
Emergency grants of up to $2,000 for preventing homelessness, vehicle repair to maintain employment, illness-related hardship, uninsured home damage, and other emergencies threatening food/shelter/safety. Up to $500 specifically for dental emergencies.
