Details
Eligibility
Children (ages 16-25) of living veterans with 90%+ service-connected disability rating (or rated Individual Unemployability); veteran must be Louisiana resident. Surviving spouse and children of deceased veterans who died of service-connected causes or were rated 100% disabled at time of death. Spouses of POW/MIA veterans.
Duration
4 years of schooling to be completed in not more than 5 years, or until the student reaches age 25.
Covers
Exemption from tuition, matriculation, registration, laboratory, athletic, medical, and other school-imposed fees at Louisiana state-supported colleges. Does NOT cover room and board, books, or supplies.
