Eligibility

Veterans who did not receive a dishonorable discharge, service members who died on active duty or training, and their spouses/minor children. Kentucky residency is NOT required.

Covers

Free gravesite, opening/closing of grave, perpetual care, government headstone/marker/medallion, burial flag, and Presidential Memorial Certificate. Spouse burial: $500 fee. Estimated private burial equivalent: $7,000-$15,000+.
