About this benefit
Eligibility
Dependent child (up to age 26) of an Iowa veteran killed in action after September 11, 2001. Must have lived in Iowa for at least 2 years immediately before applying.
Covers
Annual tuition assistance equal to the highest in-state undergraduate tuition rate at an Iowa Board of Regents institution (rate adjusts annually). Lifetime cap = 5x the annual rate.
