About this benefit
Eligibility
Honorably discharged veteran with minimum 90 days active duty (or less if separated for service-connected disability). Bona fide Idaho resident. Must be unemployable due to age, illness, or disability. Spouses and widows/widowers of eligible veterans may be admitted for nursing care.
Covers
Skilled nursing care, residential care, and domiciliary care at facilities in Boise, Lewiston, Pocatello, and Post Falls. All homes are Medicare and Medicaid certified.
