Who is eligible
Eligibility
Follows National Veterans Cemetery eligibility — honorably discharged veterans who served on active duty before September 7, 1980; for service after that date, must have completed at least 24 months of active duty or a federally ordered deployment. Reservists and National Guard members also eligible. No Idaho residency requirement. Eligible spouses and dependents may also be interred.

Interment fees for eligible veterans are paid by the VA; an interment fee applies to eligible spouses and dependent children, due at time of interment. Government-provided headstone, flat marker, or niche cover at no cost. Military Funeral Honors coordinated by the cemetery (Taps, flag folding, presentation, Honor Guard). Family is responsible for funeral home/preparation costs.
