About this benefit
Eligibility
Idaho resident; served on active duty and discharged under honorable conditions after 90+ days of continuous active duty (or less if separated for service-connected disability). Idaho was home of record at time of service, OR veteran has resided in Idaho for 5+ years. Must demonstrate temporary emergency need within 90 days of request.
Covers
One-time grant up to $1,500 for food, fuel, shelter, and necessities. Maximum one grant per 6-month period. $1,500 lifetime cap for the veteran and their dependents combined.
