Eligibility
Wartime active-duty service with discharge under other than dishonorable conditions; VA-approved for skilled nursing care. For veterans with 70%+ SC rating OR admitted due to a service-connected condition, the daily fee is paid in full by the VA (effectively no out-of-pocket cost). Other eligible veterans pay a nominal daily fee.
