Eligibility

Wartime veteran with honorable discharge; Florida resident for 1 year immediately preceding application; certified need for nursing home or assisted living care by a VA physician. Spouses and surviving spouses are also eligible at lower priority.

- Alexander "Sandy" Nininger State Veterans' Nursing Home (Pembroke Pines)

- Clifford C. Sims State Veterans' Nursing Home (Panama City)

- Douglas T. Jacobson State Veterans' Nursing Home (Port Charlotte)

- Ardie R. Copas State Veterans' Nursing Home (Port St. Lucie)

- Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans' Nursing Home (St. Augustine)

Assisted living at the Robert H. Jenkins, Jr. State Veterans' Domiciliary Home in Lake City (150 beds). Total program capacity ~1,102 beds. Costs offset by VA per diem.
