Healthcare
At 50% you enter Priority Group 1 with no copays for any VA care (service-connected or not).
Dependent additions added to base (2026): spouse +$109/month, each child under 18 +$54/month, each child 18+ in school +$176/month, dependent parent +$88/month, spouse Aid & Attendance +$101/month. (Note: the first dependent child is already factored into the base "with spouse and 1 child" rate of $1,322.90; "each additional child" amounts apply to children beyond the first.)
