Overview

Eligibility (per CT DVA Cemetery and Memorial Services page): Burial in the State Veterans Cemetery is reserved for eligible veterans (other-than-dishonorable discharge), their spouses, and eligible minor children.

Covers

Connecticut provides burial at no cost to eligible veterans. The state supplies government grave markers without charge and maintains perpetual care of all interred remains. MSVC is described as the largest state-operated veterans cemetery in Connecticut, currently serving over 16,000 veterans and family members.

Middletown State Veterans Cemetery (MSVC), 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT 06457. Administrative office: 287 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
