About this benefit
Eligibility
CT resident; honorably discharged veteran who served a minimum of 90 days active duty during a statutory wartime period (unless discharged earlier due to service-connected disability). Must demonstrate financial need. Spouse must be living with veteran; children must be natural/adopted, under 18, and living with the veteran.

Temporary financial assistance for food, clothing, shelter, fuel, utilities, medical/surgical aid, and burial expenses. Amount varies by need.
