Overview

Eligibility (per DEEP Special Passes page): Connecticut residency and service-connected disability status. Required documents are a legible photocopy of a current CT driver's license (or other legal proof of residency) and a VA card or VA Benefits Letter documenting service-connected disability status.

Covers

Free, lifetime admission for the pass holder at Gillette Castle, Dinosaur State Park, and Fort Trumbull State Park (the CT state parks that charge an admission fee). Other visitors must still pay applicable fees. The pass is non-transferable, may only be used by the named individual, and is not valid for camping or special events with separate admission charges.

By mail to DEEP State Parks Division, 79 Elm Street, Hartford, CT 06106-5127, or in person at DEEP District offices or participating state parks during business hours.
