Eligibility
Any veteran who died on active duty, or served on active duty (other than training) and was not dishonorably discharged. Also service members who died on active duty or during training, and spouses/minor children of eligible veterans.
Covers
Free burial at California state veterans cemeteries. Includes casketed and cremation gravesites, and columbarium niches. Dependents pay a fee based on the USDVA plot allowance rate.
